Grahame Robb Associates (GRA) are delighted to announce that we have become an official European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) training organisation; one of only six in the UK.

This prestigious accreditation enables GRA to deliver instructor, rescuer, facilitator & manager training as well as assessment courses at our two outdoor learning centres and issue ERCA certificates to those undertaking the training.

GRA has over 25 years of experience in operating ropes courses and has owned its own centres in Reading and Burton-upon-Trent for eight years and two years respectively. To achieve accreditation, GRA’s centres and outdoor instructors were audited and interviewed in April 2016.

Andrew Norton, Project Leader and Operations Manager for the GRA Outdoor Leadership Centre, said “To achieve our new status as a certified training body is a fantastic end to eighteen months of hard work and I’m proud of everyone involved. The project has brought together expertise from across the business and as a result we now have a fantastic opportunity to help outdoor instructors acquire new skills, develop further and achieve new accreditations. We believe this achievement underlines our strengths as the UK’s leading learning and development organisation.”

GRA’s newly qualified ERCA Trainer Andrew is joined by the vastly experienced Joe Mackintosh in being able to facilitate the training and assessment programmes. The team will soon be announcing public training dates on our website for instructors who wish to achieve accreditation.
